Life at St Mary’s is shaped by worship, friendship, service, and a shared sense of community. Whether it’s a cup of tea and a chat, a festival celebration, or a quiet moment of prayer, there are many ways to be part of the life of the church.

We have gathered just some of the ways our church and parish room are used—by the congregation, the village, and beyond.

Throughout the year, you’ll find a wide range of events and activities that bring people together and celebrate all that makes this place special:

• Food and Fellowship– From monthly Ploughmen’s Lunches and Men’s Breakfasts to cakes at the Tea Room and BBQs at the village Carnival, sharing food is a big part of how we build community.
• Music and Worship – Our choir enriches worship each week, and we host special musical services and concerts throughout the seasons.
• Conservation and Creation Care– Our churchyard conservation area is cared for by volunteers and enjoyed by the wider community. Activities like the RSPB Bird Count, sponsored bird boxes, and hands-on Eco Church projects help us care for creation and deepen our connection with the world around us.
• Festivals and Celebrations– From the flower-filled joy of Easter to the sparkle of Christmas, our festival services and community events offer moments of beauty, meaning, and welcome for all ages.
